Off-hand flourishing is one of the most fascinating technique of pointed pen. In this 1.5 hour online course, I will teach you how to do flourishing with the straight holder like the old day! We will start from basic strokes and correct hand position & movement; then we will step by step learn how to make more advanced designs like feathers, birds, etc.

I will demo white ink on black, and gold ink too, and how to mix them properly! How fun is that!

Level: All level

Materials: A straight holder (tapered shape), a pointed nib (Gillott 303, Leonardt Principal or Hunt 101), your favorite ink & blank paper. Personally I use Dr. Martin’s Bleed Proof white ink, and FineTec gold.
